Independent judicial scholarship

A clearer path through judicial decisions.

Judicial Exposition brings significant decisions together in structured, issue-based digests. Each publication connects legal principles with the judgments in which they were considered, helping advocates, researchers and students move efficiently from a question of law to the relevant judicial reasoning.

The Judicial Exposition Series

A developing reference across fields of law.

Judicial Exposition is conceived as a series of independently compiled legal digests examining significant judicial decisions across different fields and levels of law. Each publication will organise decisions by issue, identify the principles applied, and guide readers to the underlying judicial reasoning.

The series begins with Judicial Exposition of Service Law, a digest of service-law decisions of Hon’ble Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia delivered between 2017 and 2025. Further subjects will be added as their research and editorial review are completed.
